The FASD Network is excited to announce that the 10th annual Parent Retreat will be traveling to five Saskatchewan communities in the spring of 2017. Parent Retreat is a free-of-charge event for caregivers or parents of individuals living with FASD. This workshop provides information on FASD and gives attendees the opportunity to connect with other caregivers.
There are several exciting changes to the event this year. The event will be a one-day workshop in each community with lunch provided. The morning will cover topics such as the primary disabilities associated with FASD, stigma, empowering your child, the impact on the family and much more, followed by an afternoon focused on practical strategies for support.
This event is open to parents or caregivers from any family structure, no matter how old the individuals living with FASD are.
**Please note:that hotel accommodations will not be provided this year.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or (306) 975 – 0896 if you have any questions.
Limited spots available at each location - deadline to register is April 21st.
